  This time was the best,and I don't think that Markoff's estimate was too far off this time on the attendees.
  The timing was perfect,as the morale is low in the department,and the residents of the city have been in a "funk"
  What I witnessed at the event were plenty of smiling officers and firefighters,and a great sense of community spirit.

This event solidified the message that I have been telling my members and that is that the citizens of Ft. Lauderdale support us. The only downside to the event was that the director of the office of professional standards tried to stop officers from receiving the giveaways from the h.o.a.’s. Tim you did a fantastic job and this City is fortunate to have a true leader like you.
