Candidate Roberts Released From Hospital
Former Police Chief Bruce Roberts, who is in a run-off for the District I Commissioner seat with incumbent Commissioner Christine Teel, has been released from the hospital.
Roberts Teel
His campaign spokesman, former Victoria Park President Mark Ketcham, says that Roberts is "doing fine" after a gastrointestinal procedure that had to be performed in the hospital. Ketchum stressed that the condition Roberts suffered from was "not life threatening", and that he expected Roberts to pick up limited campaign duties immediately.
Commissioner Teel could not be reached for comment!

Gremlin is pleased that the Comm. Tim blog provides periodic updates of a candidates health...BUT what comment did you expect from Commissioner Teel? Will you now fault her for failing to wish her opponent a speedy recovery or for not sending flowers?

Gremlin:
Is Teel God in your book? She should show decency to her opponents - oh that's right - they don't matter. Ask Roberts and Garcia how she treated them and spoke to them- that is if she even acknowledged they existed. They were nice to her. If Teel was in the hospital, I am sure Roberts and Garcia would have at least stated their well wishes.

Oh! Teel claims to be a long, long ago retired nurse, so her comments about Robert's procedure would have been - absolutely out of place and obsolete.

Tim, As you know, I've been following your Fort Lauderdale blog for some time -- as well as continuing to urge you to run for office. I know you read my newspaper columns, but did you know I also publish a blog at http://agwiii.blogspot.com/">http://agwiii.blogspot.com/ that I call "Tales From The Galt Gulag?
As you know, Gulag is an acronym for the former Soviet Union's penal system. Since then, it has come into common use to describe any repressive system. I named my blog and my column the “Tales From The Galt Gulag,” because I write about the repression of condominium Owners on the Galt Ocean Mile.
Thanks to the action and inaction of Teel, the Galt Ocean Mile is the biggest crime scene in Broward County. She still wants to waste $40,000 on a monument to Condo Crime - the Rozema Park.
Some of your readers will find my blog at http://agwiii.blogspot.com/">http://agwiii.blogspot.com/ to have a few interesting items and comments.

Hi Tim,
I have just published an open letter to Candidate Bruce Roberts. The citizens of the Galt Gulag are hoping to hear from the Chief. I suspect he reads your blog, so I'm posting the URL of the letter here.

Grayson Walker is a nutjob! Roberts wont waste his time responding to his foolishness, if Mr. Walker has a problem with his condo thaat is for him to hire an attorney and quit trying to get elected officials involved in PRIVATE owership rights of a Florida Corporation. A city commissioner is the stupidist person to contact if you have a condo problem. If Inger is so good, why hasnt she solved ALL your problems???

Sorry "Gus." It seems you are the nutjob masquerading as "Gus."
I had lunch with Bruce two weeks ago and we discussed these and other issues. My letter to Bruce has nothing to do with private issues - nor do I have any - I leave such things to Mike Katz and Marty Glazer - Southpoint's geriatric crooks.
