.............. and Vote Tomorrow
Outstanding cartoon and really says it all.....do you want more of the same or do you want something better and different....I for one think change is needed and good and will vote for Prewitt. He has done the necessary work, is connected to the neighborhoods throughout the District and City and is willing to put in the time to get the job done. Let's try someone new and move our city forward.

Is this Cal Deal the same nut that bombarded my emails with anti-Cidi Hutchinson words? I hope Coleman wins so eventually Mr. Deal will turn against him like he seems to do with evewryone. He is just a costant complainer...Gee, I wonder if he is buddies with Art Seitz and all the other negative attack people. I wish THESE people would spend their time helping the community with deeds and not words!

Uh Oh Tim you have competition....
Earl is back he just released his endorsements from his blog...
PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS WHO LIVE IN:
DISTRICT 1 (THE NORTHERN PART OF FT LAUDERDALE)
DISTRICT 3 (THE WESTERN PART OF FT LAUDERDALE)
AND DISTRICT 4 (THE SOUTHERN PART OF FT LAUDERDALE):
Tomorrow, (Tuesday March 10th), is the last chance that you will have (over the next 3 years) to make an impact on the decisions that our City Commission will make regarding our City's future. Tomorrow there will be a runoff election in these three districts and will be the last opportunity you and your friends will have to make a positive difference. Even if you did not vote on February 10, you can still vote for your new Commissioner tomorrow if you live in one of these three districts!
Look around. How much worse can it get? We have seen a meltdown of our National economy over the last several months. Job losses are the highest on over 30 years, foreclosures are the highest since the Great Depression. Banks are closing, businesses are going bankrupt, all our manufacturing is being sent offshore, we are borrowing billions from the Chinese just to pay the interest on the debt we already owe them. We are all looking for ways to do more with less.
In Fort Lauderdale however, our City Manager hasn't gotten this message. He wants to increase our City's budget this year to 12.5% over last year (a stunning $605 Million dollars!) and use our City's savings to do that. Our budget has grown to double what it was a few short years ago with no increase in population. He wants to continue to tax us with high property taxes so he can continue to enjoy his spending spree.
We must have Fort Lauderdale Commisisoners that can reign in his out-of-control spending addiction! Tomorrow you have a chance to do just that! I have analyzed the Commission Candidates running for these three Districts. They are all fine people; however, the following three are the ones I feel that are the most fiscally responsible:
DISTRICT 1: BRUCE ROBERTS
DISTRICT 3: BOBBY DUBOSE
DISTRICT 4: COLEMAN PREWITT
Please make sure to vote tomorrow and please make sure to vote for one of these candidates. If you feel (as I do), that our property taxes need to be reduced and our budget needs to be brought back under control, these are the candidates who will do the best job to accomplish these necessary goals.
SO PLEASE TAKE 30 MINUTES OUT OF YOUR SCHEDULE TOMORROW TO VOTE! THAT 30 MINUTES COULD SAVE YOU HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON YOUR FUTURE PROPERTY TAX BILLS!
EARL RYNERSON

I received Earl's message via e-mail, and actually thought it was Sunday, since I was buried in Turbo Tax up to my eyeballs, so I was very grateful for the reminder and am on my way out the door to vote for Bruce Roberts, and hopefully I can drag most of my neighborhood along.
