As most of you now know, Broward County Commissioner Josephus Eggelletion has been arrested by the Feds, after allegedly receiving $23,000 in cash in an FBI corruption sting. The Federal charges are money laundering and mail fraud.
Eggelletion leaving Courthouse.... none too happy !
Eggelletion's political career has been fraught with controversy, including allegations of buying a $659 briefcase with a county credit card, improperly working as a lobbyist, and fathering the child of one of his former students!
Now, Governor Crist, after having suspended Eggelletion, will have to appoint a replacement to serve out the remainder of Eggelletions' term.

AH...Comm Tim's chances are coming into focus! Looking at the "talked about" replacements Gremlin does see an argument for diversity. The so-called public servants (the loathsome three)recently rounded up in the federal sting operation do give truth to the oft-quoted "a public office is a public lust". Tim, Its never a good idea to Put Alcee Hastings or Carlton Moore anywhere near a plug for political aspirations. Just my two cents. I wouldnt want Hastings linked to me in any form unless it was me doing a corruption investigation. So diveristy uh? The only white guy in the mix?

I am also curious as to what you think about the Pompano study on their BSO contract?

Gov. Crist will no doubt be contacting you soon. Look at how quickly Massachusetts found a replacement for Sen. Kennedy.
