Fire whoever shot that ad - you can't even see the full campaign sign in the background with his name on it! By the way, ask Zalewski's fellow Board members on the Central Beach Alliance what they think of him or ask former CBA Board members who live in his condo on the beach. Interesting.

Lester never worked with the present board at his condominium. I am the immediate past president of Lester's condominium. I have know Lester Zalewski for10 years and worked closely with him for the nearly 4 years that I was the president. Our contact was at least daily and at many times multiple contacts in a day. Lester is extremely capable and competent. He has a background with large building operations, accounting, finances and maintenance. Lester is honest and trustworthy. I do not praise people lightly. My personal and professional contact with Lester gives me the right and privilege to comment on his ability and integrity.

Lester brings leadership and expertise to everything he does. We served on our condo board of directors together. We also oversaw the concrete restoration of our building. He knows the laws, the codes and has integrity. He listens to people. And he isn't afraid to speak up when people need a voice and help.

The FLL Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a District One and District Two candidate Forum on Friday January 20, 2012 Noon at Gallery One Hotel located at 2670 E. Sunrise Blvd. These forums are important for those of us without large campaign budgets to get out, introduce ourselves to interested voters and engage in a panel with the current commissioners. I hope all candidates attend.
A separate Forum for District 4 candidates and the mayor commission seat is scheduled for Tuesday Jan. 24 8:00am Breakfast at the Tower Club.

Dear Fred and Susan, Isn't it against Florida law for someone to sit on a condo Board of Directors and at the same time be paid as the manager of the building? Are the rumors also true that a lawsuit was filed at your Condo against Zalewski when he was fired as the manager? What's the status of that?

Robert Walsh is a suck-up to the Rodstroms. Her commercial is bush league. If she is such a crime fighter, then why has crime gone through the roof in the six years she has been in office?

I know Lester personally. He is running for this position only to further his professional position. I just recently sent out over 5oo mailers to different condos throughout the Ft.Lauderdale area in around 5 different zipcoded zones. His commercials make me laugh he emphasizes on relating with the neighbors within his district. But the only folks he deals with are people he knows. His famous quote is "if they dont pay my bills, put food on my table, or sleep in my bed then there opinions nor position in life has anything to do with me. How can a man who feels this way consider anyones elses wants or needs?? Its cute to hear Chris call him selflessness....I cant imagine Ive ever met an individual whom is more selfish. So if you want to elect a person whom only cares where this adventure will lead his career as a property manager, developer, or overseer of many sections of the community. Its all in his personnel gain financially. Its sad that a quick witted and worded man can suede a number of decent humans in his selfcentered direction. So please look deeply into this person whom you seem to backup and want to uplift financially. Just think about whom you are backing up....this is a man who hasnt talked to you while in a public social enviroment. Looked as smug as a drug dealer with his dark shades and jaded hats sitting on the wall of local coffee shops. He has been barred from local establishments due to stalking, verbally and phyically abusing an ex-girlfriend. This man is a joke and you all need to take a look at who you are putting in a position of power throughout your neighborhood. Good Neighbors make good neighborhoods....are you joking me???

Is there a place where we can review Rodstrom's voting record? Both of these candidates are technical illiterates. Rodstom's "Issues" section is under construction. When is she putting it up, the day of the election? Meanwhile her commercials are on all day long.

I am pleased to see Lester Zalewski running for District 2 City Commissioner. I am still burning about Ms. Rodstroms lack of fiscal accountablily in not seeking a new bid re: the Swimming Hall of Fame project. My husband and I have known Lester for 8 years and know him to be a kind, honest and transparent personality. He has been a terrific advocate for the Ft. Lauderdale Central Beach Alliance and several grass-root projects, benefiting our local community. Lester has never been afraid to show his courage of convictions in dealing with the issues presented and his fiscal accountability is needed NOW. Let's keep them honest at city hall and vote in Mr. Zalewski. Have a voice.

I attended a neighborhood Meet and Greet today to hear Lester Zalewski, running for District 2 Commissioner, give his view on our local community issues. I was impressed with his command of the facts and his principled stance against corruption. Mr. Zalewski reminded us that for many of the problems our community faces, current solutions are already in place, yet are often not implemented or ignored.
