Tim actually does enough for the city & the community which he lives, let other commissioners follow Tim's foot steps within their districts.

Comment on Commissioner Dubose ... I remember you sitting on the wall, I believe I still have the article from the paper.
That Saturday we really did have a lot of fun, & making a difference at one of our gateways into the city. It is time for another paint job for sure!

Comment on Operation Smoking Gun

Valigator, I would also like to hear specifically what you did to make sex offender requirements tougher. Did you help get new legislation past? If so, you deserve to be honored at the next city commission.

Comment on Horrific Crime, Tough Victim

This lady is a tough cookie. I worked with her on crime fights for years and she is strong to let the world in on her tradegy. Thanks God the creature is still put away. No more Tent City please.

Comment on Operation Smoking Gun

Valigator, your a fool. No one listens to people like you. Your not productive because you have nothing to add. You only critique the people who serve the community. You have me all wrong. I agree with most of what you write. I am completely against the rights of sex offenders and others who victimize innocent people. I like, you have a family and I want to protect them. However, what you don't realize is how hard our police department works. Don't you think our police officers have families? They want these scum bags off the streets just like you and I do. Believe me, I know first hand (Hint, Hint). There is only so much the police department can do. Once these people are arrested, there is nothing more the PD can do. You need to be angry at the judges, prosecutors and parole commissions who are letting the scum out of prison. While I don't agree with every point you make, I do feel you have some valid points. However, I believe your points get lost in your angry responses. I can assure you the angry emails that you send to the PD and city officials will not be taken seriously if you use intimidation. Here is my suggestion. Why don't you try and run for city commission or get a job within the city so that you can make a difference. It's better then criticizing those who do make a difference. You may be done with me, but you have to admit I make some valid points. Good Luck, I hope you get taken serious by someone other then me...

Comment on Operation Smoking Gun

Thats it? Thats all you got? Attack my blogging..well I think you know who I am also Bob and I have done alot more for this community than sit behind a computer screen, I attend commission meetings, I have made sex offender requirements tougher and have held LE feet to the fire to actually enforce the laws that were written with the blood of our kids..and in all my years of "doing something" I have found most of the time our biggest problems lie with the weasel clauses your trying to push down the public's throat as I write this.Yea I know who you are now, your the guy who always tries to take the biggest chunk of money out of the taxpayers mouths for projects like a New Bridge so bigger boats can pass thru on Sunrise Blvd. Yea thats a real community service at this juncture (sarcasm)..See Bob your the type of guy who defends reasons why people "Can't" accomplish their jobs , I am the opposite.. I insist that they do. That offends people like you, because you find me harsh, I spent years being nice and years pleading with the system to do the most basic of their jobs and all I got back were those nice little automatic replies from officials thanking me for contacting them. I dont do that anymore. Running for Commissioner? I doubt it, I dont play well with others and seem to get alot more done (my way) than having tea parties with a bunch of politicians or police officials that wont move out behind their desk until they are embarrassed enough to do so. You say its easy to sit behind a computer screen, there is nothing easy about having been a target by every sex offender in the country for twenty years, its not easy trying to stem the tide of our kids getting chewed up and spit out on a daily basis by bad guys for no other reason than they "can". It angers me that only months ago our city was again in the spotlight by allowing convicted criminals to be able to work in daycare centers and nursing homes. Or how about a 4 million cost over-run that our "Supervisor of Elections" didnt see coming? Jeez, seems every entity on the public's payroll in Ft. Lauderdale should be hanging their heads. But dont tell me, I am sure you have a valid reason that these people cant do the jobs they are paid for right? Vigilante is not a dirty word to me, and no I dont think fighting crime is easy, but it definitely shouldnt be this blind. Your so simple, again in your last paragraph you want to pass the buck, well in this particular case? The buck stops with Adderley because as I said above, if my kid disappeared in the City of Ft. Lauderdale and I had to depend on him to find him, its obvious we would have been in pretty piss poor shape. I am done with you, your part of the problem and will never be part of the solution. Oh, Mike Chitwood is a Chief that makes Frank Adderley look very small. Its real nice your more concerned with my blogging capabilities than you are with the children of this community.of course I am sure Children arent a big issue with you guys

Comment on Operation Smoking Gun

It is so easy for Valigator to sit in front of her computer and judge how well others are doing their job. I suppose in your world you believe your some sort of vigilante. Chief Adderley has done more then you ever have in front of your computer. He has been an Officer for over 30 years. He has locked up more sex offenders then you have written in peoples blogs. If you think it is so easy fighting crime, well then try and do something other then judging others.
As far as the homeless people in Fort Lauderdale. What do you expect our Officers to do? You can't just arrest and violate peoples rights just because they are homeless. FLPD was forced to close down their jail. FLPD is doing their job. Is it their fault that judges and BSO release individuals who get arrested? I suggest you do something more then just blog. Perhaps you can become our next city commissioner or chief. I can honestly say I do more then just blog. I think you know what I do for a living. By the way, you never did mention the names of those other chiefs who do a better job then Adderley.
